Situation-Reaction Training

A structured methodology for lasting behavioral change through cognitive mental rehearsal and physiological conditioning.

Radical Rehearsal Focus

We depart from continuous theorizing and discussions and focus on practical rehearsal and visualization of the reaction.

Rehearsal happens with digital flashcards

Cards are created by the individual or together with a therapist. An initial set of 100 cards is given.

Multi-Layered Design

A reaction is defined by more than just actions. We aim to harmonize the reaction of an individual across multiple layers: Thoughts, Values, Roles, Emotions, and Actions.

We Stand on the shoulders of the giants

The methodology extensively borrows from sport psychology, spaced repetition, theory of change, and reflex formation.

The scientific foundations include the work of M. Bohus, J. Bugental, J. Campbell, D. Casstevens, M. Csikszentmihalyi, D. Denborough, V. Dolnik, A. Ericsson, M. Erikson, S. Freud, E. Fromm, J. Haley, J. Hyde, D. Kahneman, M. Linehan, G. Mack, B. Magness, A. Maslow, E. O’Connor, C. Rogers, J. Selk, B. van der Kolk, M. White, I. Yalom, and others. The philosophy and the principles of the tool are drawn from a broader corpus of understanding of human nature as per F. Dostoevsky, F. Kafka, J.-P. Sartre, A. Watts, C. T. Munger, A. Balykin, and A. Camus.

Contribute to this cause by dedicating your academic research to the topic.
