You are awesome!
Thank you for sharing!
Hey, I am Ivan. I live in Germany and analyze software M&A markets at work. I also built this tool. It turned out super successful for me, I've used it since 2023.
Since you are here, I sense we can have something in common. So maybe this will lead to a good conversation!
There is also a small group of great like-minded people who contribute ideas and feedback to this project. We will be glad to get your ideas as well!
Ok, now, moving to the stuff itself.
Will do my best to keep it simple here!
Wishing you a great week,
Ivan Vaganov.
Key idea
1. Mental rehearsal rewires the brain.
Therefore, we should train using spaced repetition, not just wait for the next life situation.
2. Every reaction/action has a trigger.
Therefore, we should rehearse in pairs, situation then reaction, for this to work.
3. Our reactions are more than just actions.
Therefore, we should also keep thoughts and emotions as part of the mental training.
4. Gratification is key for locking the pair.
Therefore, we do that gratification mentally and mindfully during training, not by faking it with game points or jumping avatars.
Just think about it.
Why SRT is so different
Yes, there are methods that include pairing wished action with a trigger. And there are authors who mention importance of gratification. But, as of our knowledge:
1. None of them do it in advance, using mental imagery and mental training before real life events.
2. None of them do the training on editable, platform-agnostic digital flashcards.
3. None of them pay attention to the full stack of the reaction: thoughts, values, emotions.
4. None of them think broader than basic habits.
5. None of them focus on mindful gratification on time.
6. None of them offer the training pack for free, ready to use.
The pack I promised
4. Access to deep dive methodology, texts and videos, get access to the science behind
5. I highly recommend you to send me hi, I will make it easy for you
